About Us

Join Boston PHP

Boston PHP is the fastest growing, and most active tech community in New England.

We are a lot more than PHP!

Boston PHP is a not-for-profit organization focused on bringing together smart people to come and share experiences on a wide range of topics mainly on PHP, Web Development, and Open Source technology. It was established in 2002 and has been meeting regularly on a monthly basis. We have had over of 85 meetup events, and have a member base of over 3753 people.

We are a friendly community, and encourage everyone to participate and get involved. Meetings are monthly during a weekday from 6-9pm. Our meetings are usually topic based presentational style, and all meetings are free and open to the public. After each meeting we typically go to a nearby restaurant/bar/pub for more informal discussion.

We use our website to organize and communicate all of our meetup events. We call our meetings "Meetups". On our site you will find a full listing of all past and upcoming meetups. Our videos from past meetups are also listed at the bottom of the about section, or at videos.bostonphp.org. There is a discussion forum that you can use to communicate with each other. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Our hash tag is #bostonphp.
